1. Access Manhole

Allows easy access to the Storm Capture™ System for periodic maintenance and inspection. Precast concrete grade rings can be installed to bring the system up to ground level when needed. Standard manhole access sizes range between 24” and 36” with custom options also available.

2. Permeable Paver

The success of PermeCapture begins with a permeable surface treatment that significantly reduces on-site stormwater runoff. Surface stormwater is rapidly distributed for collection below the surface through Belgard's interlocking permeable paver systems. Other surface treatments can also be used with the PermeCapture system.

3. Drainage Aggregate

The first layer of earth cover below the permeable surface treatment consists of a 2” layer of #89 sized aggregates. This layer allows the quick transfer and filtration of surface runoff to the permeable base material below and onto the Storm Capture™ System.

4. Permeable Base Material

A second layer of fill sits below the drainage aggregate and above the Storm Capture™ System. It is a 3" or less layer of #57 aggregate. This permable base material once again filters the stormwater to remove small debris before entering the Storm Capture™ System.

5. Storm Capture™

A major component of the PermeCapture™ system are the Storm Capture™ modules, which feature unique water inlet ports in the top section. This allows maximum runoff collection over the entire system's footprint without the need for grated inlets. The combination of water inlet ports and permeable base materials above are strategically sized to eliminate the need for a geotextile fabric that has the potential to clog the system.

6. Subgrade Soil

Subgrade soils are the final component of the PermeCapture™ System. Depending on how you intend to use the PermeCapture™ System, the subgrade soils can be designed for multiple purposes including bearing capacity, infiltration, and stability.
